4 Responses to a Challenge that Work

Have you ever been in a situation for a long time yet made no progress? Or find yourself repeating the same mistakes over and over?

If you want to get the next level in anything, you need to know the four responses to a challenge that work.

Number 1:  You need courage to take on whatever is in your way.  We live in a world of convenience and it’s easy to do nothing, which gets you nowhere.  Courage opens doors to new opportunities to fulfill your biggest dreams.

Number 2 is hard work.  Hard work gives you the skill and strength to master the job at hand.  You learn by doing.  It’s how many great discoveries and innovations are made.

The number 3 response to a challenge is perseverance.  It means don’t quit until the job is complete.  If you quit too early, you’ll find yourself in the same situation again later and the mountain to climb even higher.

Number 4 is humility.  Be coachable.  Learn from others.  Ask people how you can do better and they will gladly share their understanding with you.

If you win something, be a gracious winner.  If you lose, congratulate the other person with respect. Humility may be the toughest response to learn.  Your pride may be hurt, your hope cut a little short.  But practice humility and you will gain the respect of others and the next door of opportunity will open for you.
