Lee Kemp, known as one of the greatest wrestlers in United States history, is a keynote speaker, educator, author and seminar presenter who has spoken in a variety of venues in both athletic and non-athletic settings throughout the United States.
Lee coached the US Olympic Freestyle Wrestling Team in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and was a 1980 Olympian (US boycotted those games). Lee was a 3x World Champion (1978, 1979, 1982) and America’s first multiple time World Champion. For 38 years Lee was America’s youngest World Champion when he won his 1st title in 1978 at age 21.
Lee is one of five American Freestyle Wrestlers inducted to the International Wrestling Hall of Fame. He has been featured three times in Sports Illustrated Magazine (February 1977, April 1982, May 1982). Life Magazine featured Lee in their “1984 Olympic Preview” issue along with Michael Jordan, Carl Lewis, Edwin Moses and Greg Louganis.
Lee is an entrepreneur with an M.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and is the subject of a film documentary on his life scheduled for release in summer of 2018.
His athletic, academic and business background, as well as his broadcast experience as a frequent, on-air commentator for ESPN and other cable networks provides a level of exposure, experience and knowledge that keeps Lee in demand and makes him one of the most sought after speakers.
